Honey and wellbeing

Forest honey is largely derived from honeydew rather than flower nectar, giving it a distinctive mineral-rich profile and a high concentration of polyphenol antioxidants — studies have found forest honeys can carry markedly more antioxidant activity than typical blossom honeys. Its natural oligosaccharides may also support beneficial gut bacteria.
